NOW HIRING: Director of Operations

Location: Florida (Hybrid/Remote)

Compensation: $54,000 - $60,000 annually

Employment Term: Through December 2026

Travel: Required

Vanguard Political, LLC is a Florida-based political consulting firm specializing in political strategy, Black media, direct voter contact, and campaign management. We work with candidates, ballot initiatives, and public affairs clients, blending data-driven electoral strategy with the art of innovation. As our work is cyclical, all positions conclude at the end of the election cycle.

Job Overview:

The Director of Operations manages the internal operations of Vanguard Political, ensuring strategy is translated into disciplined, on-time execution across all clients. The ideal candidate for this position is self motivated and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and project management across clients

• Manage timelines, workflows, and internal systems

• Coordinate staffing, workloads, and internal communication

• Track budgets, invoices, and vendor coordination

• Serve as the primary internal liaison between leadership and staff

• Ensure consistency and quality across client deliverables

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in campaign management or political operations

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Experience working with progressive or liberal organizations

• Ability to operate calmly in fast-paced environments

• Willingness to work night & weekends as needed

• Proficiency working with Google Workplace tools preferred
